Our Favorite Team Building Questions for Remote Teams

As a 100% remote team spread across multiple countries, we have to be creative with how we get to know each other.

Part of our onboarding process for new Zaengle team members is asking fun get-to-know-you questions.

At our regular standup meetings, the new hire asks the rest of the team a question. We all take turns answering it. Then someone else from the team asks the new hire a question.

We keep repeating this for each standup until everyone from the team has had a chance to ask the new hire a fun question.

Team building questions are an informal way for us to break the ice and get some good conversations flowing. The more off-the-wall the question, the better.

Over the years, we’ve heard some interesting questions! We’ve rounded up some of our favorites to share. Maybe you'll find them useful for your team.
